(pattern to be found in ‘Lowdown’ 2011), the best to be chosen by our Judge

COME AND JOIN US FOR AN ENJOYABLE DAY with excellent food and good company, for the price of £7.50 per person, plus 50p per Match class & Fun class.

The venue is Pirbright Parish Hall (GU24 0JT), the date is Saturday, 17th December 2011, the time is 11.00am for coffee, 11.30am for judging of the Best Dachshund Draught Excluder and the Fancy Dress Competition, and 12.30pm for Lunch.

The Match will include a Baby Puppy Walk (3 to 6 months) and a Veterans Parade (over 7 years), so bring your youngsters and your oldies to take part.

The Officers and Committee of the Southern Dachshund Association wish to extend their deepest sympathies to Peter and the family of Tessa Thomas who sadly passed away last night.

Tessa was one of our most experienced Committee members and will be sadly missed.  She had bravely fought her cancer for over a year, but was so determined to continue to show her dogs and contribute to the Committees of which she was a member.  Everyone will remember her cheery smile and her willingness to help at all times.

Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
